RAFTING OUTING PROGRAMME "¨TARA"
(one-day programme)

 This programme includes rafting on the most beautiful and attractive 18 kilometres of the Tara, from Brštenovica to Šćepan Polje where the Tara flows together with the Piva and they make a new river, the Drina. This part of the river with over twenty rapids is one of the most exciting.
 Special boats for wild rivers are used for rafting. A boat is five metres long and two metres wide and it has 8 separated sections which make passengers secure. Helmsmen born by the Tara steers the boats. They know its nature, eddies, rapids and deeper parts of the river, so the ride is completely safe. Every passenger is given a life-jacket and a helmet, and in case of rain and cold weather neoprene suits and rain coats are worn.

The price includes: parking, breakfast, lunch (the lamb under grill), jeep ride and rafting.
All other expenses, which are not anticipated for this programme, are not included in the price .
For children under 6 years of age there is a discount of 50%
For children from 6 to 12 years of age there is a discount of 30%

ITINERARY:

Arrival in Šćepan Polje, breakfast in the summer restaurant on the river banks.

Jeep ride up the river on a macadam road (about 14 kilometres) until we get to Brštanovica where rafting starts.

Putting on the equipment, preparation for rafting, giving instructions.

Rafting with short breaks for rest, swimming, taking photos…

The end of rafting, arrival in Šćepan Polje, following lunch and after that leaving the camp.
